Wondering what your housing options are at the University of Colorado
at Boulder? CU-Boulder offers a choice of 20 residence halls for
first year and upper division students, each with their own distinct
amenities. Residence halls are a great and easy way to make new friends
and better acquaint yourself with the campus. A step out the front
door of any dorm offers beautiful views of the Flatirons, as well
as proximity to your classes and the Student Recreation Center.
Of special interest to engineering students is the Quadrangle, located
directly west of the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
The "Quad" comprises four small halls--Aden, Brackett, Crosman, and Cockerell. Besides being a convenient place to live, residents receive academic
support through the Quadrangle Community Engineering and Sciences
Residential Program, which was recently expanded to include a floor
in nearby Hallett Hall as well. Quad residents have an in-house computer
lab, and individual rooms offer Ethernet connections for personal
computer use. To learn more about living in the Quad, visit the Quadrangle
Community Residential Program.
Visit the Department of
Housing site for information about the many other campus residence
halls and programs.
Upper division and transfer students have the option of living on
or off campus. The Off-Campus
Student Services Office maintains a
list of rooms, houses and apartments for rent in the Boulder area,
as well as a list of people seeking roommates.
