Gathering Your Information Once you've determined the level of study you wish to pursue, it is also important to choose the academic department to which you will belong. CU-Boulder has 170 fields of study, and you will undoubtedly be able to find an Academic Department that best suits your needs. Do I Meet the Requirements? Taking the TOEFL and Other Must Haves University of Colorado at Boulder In addition, CU-Boulder undergraduate freshman and undergraduate transfer applicants with fewer than the equivalent of 24 college-level hours completed must take the SAT I or the ACT test. Graduate applicants are usually required to take either the GRE or the GMAT test. You may obtain address and telephone information for various testing agencies from the International Student Application for Admission and Instructions.
