Honors Program Launched

The college is introducing an Engineering Honors Program in fall 2006, which offers high-achieving students the opportunity for an outstanding engineering education that is highly flexible and can be individualized to match their specific interests.

Participating students will benefit from close faculty interaction and mentoring, and have preferential access to courses designated as "Honors" courses. The program is a coherent multi-year program, with optional, but strongly encouraged summer elements. Students can enter the program at anytime from the first semester of their freshman year through the first semester of their junior year.

Scot Douglass, who teaches in the college's Herbst Program of Humanities, will serve as faculty director. For more information, contact Douglass at 303-492-6021 or Scot.douglass@colorado.edu.
