2007 CU Summer Session
Engineering Scholarship
Application deadline is 5 p.m. May 1

To be eligible to apply for these $500 scholarships you:
1. Must be registered for any summer session term in the College of Engineering and Applied Science with a minimum of 6 credit hours -- 3 hours must be in Engineering courses (such as ECEN 4593, GEEN 3851 etc)
2. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 and above
3. Students who enroll for ASEN 4519 section 200 Term B “Gas Dynamics and Turbulence Topics” are eligible for this scholarship with enrollment in this class only.
4. Students who drop below 6 hours (except for ASEN 4519) will lose the scholarship.

Please note: if you have not yet registered for classes, but intend to do so, you can apply now for the scholarships. When entering the site you will get a warning about security, it is okay to select “yes” as this site is secured.

Sinton Consulting seeking Eng. Asst. intern, Boulder, CO
Part or full time, summer or during school
Wage/Salary: $16-$20
The candidate would aid in the development of test and measurement equipment used in silicon solar cell R&D and manufacturing. This would include optimizing data acquisition, instrument design, software interface, computer setup. The position would also include electrical and optical measurements on silicon samples.

Ball Aerospace Summer Internships

IGERT Internship
Summer internship for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics undergraduates. The internship is sponsored by the biosphere-Atmosphere Research and Training (BART) IGERT program, supported by NSF funds, and offers students interested in research, graduate studies, and future careers in the professoriate experience with program evaluation. CVEN Summer Internships
The Department of the Interior Division of Energy & Mineral Development in Lakewood, CO is seeking applicants for summer internships with the following general job duties:

A. One student interested in working with energy (including renewable energy) and mineral development for Indian Reservations across the United States.

B. One student interested in GIS database development. This will include lots of document scanning to build up data in the database.

C. One student who wants to work in the field bringing rock samples to the office for testing. These samples typically range from 45-60 pounds, and must be removed and transported from their original location.
