RANKINGS:
The College of Engineering and Applied Science
ranks 19th among public engineering programs whose highest degree
offered is a doctorate, according to the latest survey by
U.S. News & World Report. Our aerospace and environmental
engineering programs were both ranked 11th among public schools.
RESEARCH:
Contracts and grants awarded to college faculty
increased 35
percent
in fiscal year 2009, with every department in the college
seeing an increase in new awards. Congratulations to the faculty
on their many successful proposals!
