The Dean's Office provides leadership, administration and service
to the college to achieve the highest standards of excellence in
education, research, and outreach. We are located on the first floor
of the Engineering Center, in the college's Administrative Center

Communications and Public Relations

As receptionists for the Dean's Office, Dan and Rhonda answer incoming telephone calls, sort
campus mail, maintain student files and advising guides, schedule conference rooms and
Student Services appointments, coordinate New Student Orientation and the
Engineering Recognition Ceremony, and handle building proctor issues.

student and parents, and working with students on probation or suspension.
Also chairs the Undergraduate Scholarship Committee, handles questions on
college rules and policies, oversees publication of the engineering catalog
and advising guides, supervises front office staff, and coordinates New Student
Orientation, undergraduate registration, and graduation lists.

and Career Fair. Also responsible for general student advising, meeting with

Areas of responsibility include oversight and implementation of the
college's Discovery Learning, Service Learning, and Professional
Learning activities, including the establishment and monitoring of
measures of success for these programs. Also oversees the college's
Discovery Learning Apprenticeship and Earn-Learn Programs. Works
with departments to ensure an effective advising experience for all
students and the development and use of appropriate assessment
measures necessary for ABET accreditation.
