Grading Assistant for CSCI 4273/5273
Professor Rick Han will be teaching CSCI 4273/5273 Network Systems this
Fall 2009 and would like to advertise an opening in this course for a
paid earn-learn student. Your primary responsibility will be in grading
our homework assignments and interacting with the professor and/or
students on homework grading issues. Please contact Prof. Han via email

Paid Earn Learn
Opportunity for Computational Methods, MCEN 3030
The student's responsibility will be to oversee semiweekly Matlab
tutorials and class recitation sections in the CadLab (ECCE 141).
Sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 - 5:50 pm, with
additional sessions during the first two weeks. The total commitment is
for 10 h / week. Applicants must have previously received a strong grade
in MCEN 3030, have ample experience programming in Matlab, have
exemplary communication and presentation skills, and experience speaking
loudly and clearly to large groups. Potential applicants should contact

Earn-Learn
Position Supporting the North America Aerospace Project
This Earn-Learn Apprentice will provide support to the North America
Aerospace Project; a program funded by NASA and aerospace industry, and
operated by CDIO.org to increase the quality of, and strengthen the
aerospace workforce. The candidate must be interested in educational
programs and possibly plan on an academic or teaching career. You can
apply learned material as a future teacher.
You will:
■ Work with AES
professors to standardize select laboratory assignments from sophomore
and junior years for better CDIO compliance.
■
Work with senior design teams to prepare a
template for universal engineering application.
■
Work on a wiki about “SO YOU WANT TO TEACH A
PROJECT-BASED COURSE” with international scientists and engineers.
