WIEP/MEP Senior Day 2007
Coordinators: Audrey Schaiberger and Erika Brosz

1. When is Senior Day?

Senior Day 2007 is Friday, Nov. 9! Register now!

High school seniors (and their parents, teachers, and counselors) are invited to the University of Colorado at Boulder campus for a taste of college life and a first-hand look at what it's like to be an engineering student.

Learn more about how CU's Women in Engineering Program and Multicultural Engineering Program can support you!

If you would like to download a PDF version of the Senior Day flier, click here. Please feel free to post these flyers in your school and hand them out to your friends!

Click here to download Adobe Acrobat Reader if you do not already have it. This file DOES require that Adobe Acrobat Reader be installed on your computer.

2.  Who should attend?

High school senior women and underrepresented minority students (African American, Hispanic, Native American) who are interested or would like to learn more about a career in math, science, engineering, or technology are encouraged to attend Senior Day. Students interested in medicine, law, fine arts and business will also learn about opportunities made available to them through an undergraduate education in engineering.

Seniors will attend an engineering class, tour the campus (including a look at on-campus living!), and meet CU students currently studying engineering.

Find out if CU's College of Engineering and Applied Science is right for you!

Parents, teachers, and counselors are also welcome to attend Senior Day. We will provide a separate "parent track" with events and information sessions focused around admission, engineering careers, financial aid, and other topics.

3.  How much does it cost and what does that cover?

Registration is FREE, and covers lunch in a dining hall, ice cream, and event materials.

Lunch is not included for parents/teachers/
counselors, however you may purchase a dining hall meal card or walk to one of the
    many nearby restaurants.

4.  Where is the Senior Day held?

Senior Day is held on the CU-Boulder campus. Specific driving directions and details will be included in a confirmation email sent to each registrant.

5. How do I register?

Persons with disabilities should contact audrey.schaiberger@colorado.edu or call the WIEP/MEP office at (303) 492-6606.
