Pacheco: I just returned from
an engineering internship with Chevron in El Segundo, CA. I was working as
a process engineer and I enjoyed the work very much. Some of my hobbies
include skiing, wakeboarding and sailing. I am taking advantage of the
Senior thesis opportunity this year in the CHEN department to help prepare me
for graduate school.

Tiana Stastny:
I am a Junior in Applied Math and I love being a part of the beautiful
CU Boulder campus. In the future, I hope to either attend graduate
school or medical school to extend my studies. I was a Learning
Assistant for Calculus and it was a great joy to see how the students
improved their reasoning skills throughout the semester.

Sean Casey:
In my experiences as a teacher,
tutorer, and TA, I found the students came away from our sessions with a more
fundamental understanding of the topic. My approach for teaching is not to
give answers, but to provide similar examples and step-by-step solutions to
enable understanding of the material and techniques. My focus is Civil
Engineering with a degree in physics.

Angela Uribe:
I was born in Bogota, Colombia. I came to CU to major in
Electrical Engineering, and although it has been hard I still strive to become
an electrical engineer. I love both aspects of teaching and being an
engineer because I love to solve problems. I think the reason I love to
teach so much is because I love to help out others because I really appreciate
those who have helped me.

Christina Lopez:
I am a Senior in two engineering majors at CU. I work really
hard to keep my other job because I really enjoy it. I love
working with my friends in MEP because I really want to seem them
graduate. It makes me feel good to be helpful.

Melissa Rondi:
Since I would like to have a more interactive job, I have chosen a
business emphasis, for now quantitative finance. I found my economics
classes interesting last year, and I am now looking forward to learning more of
the business side of accounting. I enjoy working out, yoga, baking, and
hanging out with family and friends.

completed my undergraduate work at Illinois Institute of Technology and
I took up cycling while in school. My love for cycling has
challenged me to pursue joining the CU Tri Team. My future goal
after receiving my masters is to work for a government contractor doing
research and development.
