Wanted! After School Mentor
Are you interested in giving back to the community, working with elementary school students and making some money?  If you are fluent in both Spanish and English this is a great opportunity for you to get involved.  Pioneer Elementary School is seeking a bilingual student to assist students on a weekly basis every Wednesday from 2:35 until 3:35p.m.  The pay is $10/hr and compensation for mileage is additional.  If you are interested please contact Janet Yowell at Janet.Yowell@colorado.edu.

Agilent Technologies Panel
During the week of the Fall Career Fair Agilent Technologies will be providing an informal panel discussion regarding engineering opportunities, not just in Research and Development.  Hear about personal experiences and get all your questions answered.  This is a great opportunity to learn about career possibilities through Agilent.  This will be on October 8th from 6p.m. – 7p.m. in ECCR 1B40.  In addition, pizza will be provided.

Course Repetition Information
Didn’t do so well the first time around?  Get a second chance at completing that course.  Apply for course repetition on-line by Friday, December 14th, 2007.  No more paper applications, $5.00 fee, or transcript requirement.  Find the application on CUCONNECT under “Academics and Research”, then “Registrar Forms”.  For more information regarding course repetition see http://registrar.colorado.edu/students/registration/course_repetition.html

OUTREACH/VOLUNTEERING

Multicultural Career Fair

If you are available during these times please contact Michael Deragischi at michael.deragisch@colorado.edu
