Cadette and Senior

Architecture and Environmental Design
Take a look around. Chances are you are sheltered by a roof supported by surrounding walls. Most likely, an architect decided on the shape of the structure and the materials to be used. Architects design the buildings in which we live, work, learn and play. They shape space and, therefore, indirectly shape the experiences we have in side those spaces. Try this interest project to learn about the tools and techniques architects use to create buildings.

Computers in Everyday Life
The first computers were so large that they would not have fit into your house and were certainly not available to the average person. Nowadays computers fit on your desk, in your backpack, or in the palm of you hand. They can be found at school, in libraries, and at most places of work and play. This project will introduce you to everyday functions of using the family PC as well as computers at school, at work, and in the community.
