WIEP Yoga and Dance: Let Professor Shelly Miller lead you through a yoga and dance session to help you relax before your exams come up.  Please click here to fill out a 2 questions survey to register.  The class is Tuesday, December 2nd from 5:30p.m. - 6:30p.m. in the Bechtel Collaboratory (DLC).

WIEP Semester Celebration Luncheon
Students, you are almost done!  Please celebrate the semester with us.  We will be enjoying lunch in the BOLD Center (ECCE 100) large study room from 11a.m. - 1p.m. on Wednesday, December 3rd.  Please RSVP
here so we can order enough food.

MEP Potluck - Bring a dish to share and celebrate another semester's hard work with the rest of the BOLD Center frequenters on Wednesday, December 10th from 11a.m. - 2p.m.

A couple of classes worth looking into:
 
INVS 3041: Self and Consciousness - explore human development, self-image, social consciousness and political transformation.
INVS 3304: Human Rights: Promotion and Protection - role of non-governmental organizations in the evolution of ideology, social structures and strategies.
ENVS 3930-800: Education for Sustainability: Earth Education - 3 credit internship offered in Spring 2009.  One hour in a teaching practicum, teaching next generation about sustainability and environmental issues!  For more information, click here.
WMST 3700-004: African and African American Women in Cinema - enjoy movies and snacking during movies? This is the class for you!

Scholarships

Engineering Merit Scholarship:  If you have at least a 3.0 GPA or will by May 2009 and are a full time student for the 2009-10 academic year, you are qualified for this scholarship.  Apply here.  Get your application in early!

Puksta Scholars looking for you... Do you have a strong commitment to civic responsibility and want to bring about positive change?  If so, you could be the next 2009-10 Puksta Scholar and receive a $4500 annual scholarship.  Apply here.
