MEP Participation GrantThe Multicultural Engineering Program Participation Grant is given to MEP students as part of the program’s mission to recruit, retain, and graduate underrepresented students of color with the personal and professional skills to excel in professional engineering careers and/or graduate studies. |

The MEP Participation Grant awards eligible students $1,000 for the first year and is renewable every year for up to four years. The grant amount after the first year is dependent upon the recipient’s academic performance and participation in the program. |

To receive the MEP Participation Grant, students must complete the MEP Application and Participation Agreement forms. Grant recipients must comply with various participation requirements, including completion of two semesters of the MEP Self-Management and Leadership Principles course and participation in Academic Excellence Workshops and various MEP events. |
