Thinking about college? Considering engineering? The MEP can help you decide if CU’s College of Engineering and Applied Science is right for you and get you off to a great start as a freshman or transfer student!
The MEP is an academic support program that works to increase the number of students traditionally underrepresented in engineering that attend and graduate from CU-Boulder’s College of Engineering and Applied Science. Through scholarships, support services and activities proven to increase academic success, the MEP helps students of color and first-generation college students tackle the rigors of engineering and challenges of university life.

MEP’s services include:
Grants and merit scholarships 5-week Summer Bridge Program for incoming freshmen MEP Leadership Course Daily peer study groups for Calculus, Chemistry & Physics Research, job, and internship opportunities Tutoring, advising and mentoring	Leadership and career-development workshops 24-hour resource and study center Frequent contact with faculty and CU MEP alumni Caring multicultural community that many students consider a “home away from home” Knowledgeable and helpful staff available for peer and academic counseling and other resources
