The Multicultural Engineering Program encourages all freshmen in the program to request
housing in the Engineering Quadrangle residence halls. Here’s why:
-
Convenient location just steps away from the Engineering Center makes it easy
to get to class on time and is especially nice when students are leaving the
Engineering Center late at night
-
Quiet environment is essential for studying and getting much-needed sleep
-
Quad living provides easy access to classmates who can help answer homework
questions and be part of study groups
-
Majority of the community understands and adheres to the rigorous schedule of
engineering students. Whereas an Arts & Science student might only have three
exams per semester, engineering students often have daily assignments and
frequent tests and quizzes. Living with people who have similar academic demands
on their time tends to help students stay focused and manage their time more
wisely.
