Apprenticeship Program
The College of Engineering and Applied Science sponsors the Discovery Learning Apprenticeship Program to support and encourage undergraduate involvement in research with graduate students, faculty, and industry partners.
Undergraduate engineering students accepted to the apprenticeship program:
- earn hourly wages;
- learn hands-on techniques;
- gain insight to a field of study;
- learn time management, flexibility, and how to be part of a team.
Applications are accepted in late April for apprenticeships during the following academic year. For more information go to Discovery Learning Apprenticeship Program.
For information on other sources of funding for undergraduate research, visit the Discovery Learning page on the Active Learning website.
